By the time your WikiSpaces project is complete, there will be lots of documents and items on it. Make sure it is clear what is being included. It should be obvious to the viewer which category each element belongs to
SUGGESTIONS:
Name your pages clearly and simply. A page title should not take up more than one line in the navigation bar.
Include the numbering from the Assignment Details document.
How do I embed a PDF or Word document?
The easiest way I found to embedded a PDF or Word document on my WikiSpaces page was through Scribd. First I created my documents and then uploaded them to Scribd. If you aren't sure how to do this, check the HELP feature on WikiSpaces or do a Google search for a video about embedding files. http://blog.wikispaces.com/2011/03/tips-and-tricks-widgets-part-i.html
Do you want the sources we use listed on one page or at the end of each document?
Given the choice, I prefer you list the source of a material with the material. If you would rather list all of your sources on a reference page, that's OK too.
Can I make changes to my assignments before I post them on my Wiki?
Yes! If you want to edit or revise an assignment, please do so. The Wiki Project is supposed to showcase you and your work in this class.
I suggest you read the reflection section of your assignments before posting them. Please delete any negative comments about your partners before you include them on your Wiki. Do not post negative comments about classmates.
Can you help me?
There are several ways you can get help for this assignment:
Did you use the HELP feature on WikiSpaces? There is a HELP button at the top of your wiki page. I found it to be very useful!
Did you Google it? You can do a Google search for videos about your area of need.
Did you ask a friend? Maybe someone in class can help you. You can post a question on our WebCampus discussion board.
Where can I get clipart and pictures for my Wiki?
There are lots of websites that offer free images. Do a Google search for "free blog background images" or "free clipart". All of the clipart I use was purchased from Thistle Girl Designs.
